Summary: Nathan and Toki decide to indulge the fact they're totally invited on a scavenger hunt and Eleven comes along too because he wants to be metal and cool.

Notes: HAHA ACTION FORMAT SUCKERS. Also title and cuttext are from the dethklok song I was listening to while I wrote this. Yep. It totally makes this log infinitely more dramatic. Yeah.
Oh and the order is Nathan > whoever replies second > whoever replies third > Nathan > 2 > 3 > forever. with monkeys whenever i guess.



[Why was he here again, uhhhhhhhhhh. Oh yeah. Scavenger hunt shit, that's why. They had a Long and Elaborate debate which is to say, you know, they went 'oh man scavenger hunts are pretty cool lets go do it hi5'. So, you know, here they are, chilling outside the library.]

Ugh, fuck, I do not look forward to climbing a fucking ton of stairs.

[He pulls his glasses out of his pocket and puts them on to get a better look at the call number. Oh jeez. It's going to be like fifty million floors high, why are there such huge libraries in space. In fact why does he have a huge library. He should put escalators in there. Escalators are fucking awesome.]

I'm totally going to like, throw the fucking books on the floor when we find them. Fuck carrying them down. No fucking way.

[He shoves them back into his pocket. NO GLASSES UNTIL HE ENTERS THE LIBRARY.]

We're on a scavenger hunt or something. Fucking papers said to find books and hey, why the fuck not? We were- we were pretty bored, so... uh, yeah. We're gonna throw 'em down instead of carrying... them.

Oh hey! Ams the Doctor! You should comes with us. Nathans, he's a cool dude! An' he likes my snacks.

Oh, yes, I got one of those, too. I didn't realize it was a scavenger hunt though. I haven't been on one of those in a good while. It could be fun.

Yeah, I met him once, we talked and went to get, um, brochures. ...We walked- it seemed like a long walk. We were, uh, really far from the kiosk I guess.

[Nathan is finding Eleven a little weird, but he brushes it off. He lives with weirder junk, so he can... tolerate it he guesses.]

Anyway, uh... yeah.

[Whatever, he stomps in like a force of nature. This library will be wrecked or something, but first his immediate response is indeed to groan loudly.]

Ughhhhhhh. This place needs fucking elevators! ...Or if it has them, elevators where- where I know. Where they are.

[Toki is also weird, so he doesn't notice Eleven's weirdness. Instead, he sees Nathan stomping in and decides to stomp after! STOMP STOMP STOMP.

He grabs a book off a nearby shelf and throws it away for no discernible reason, then laughs.]

Yes, an elevator, a lift! Fab idea! I like it.

[he continues bouncing, craning his neck a little as he does to try to see up the stairs. He stops bouncing to address Nathan]

Just think it through and I'm sure you'll remember where it's at. No need to rush. After all, it's not as if we're being timed.

[Oh my god he has to be dad here, doesn't he. He then points at Eleven, who is jumping on chair.]

[A monkey jumps off from the top of the bookshelf in an attempt to land on Toki and tear off his arm.]

[Seriously, guys. You need to listen to Nathan.]

[Toki glares at Nathan and looks back just to see a flying monkey. Without even thinking about it, his fist swings toward the monkey's face, hopefully hitting hard enough to deflect the monkey entirely.]

FUCKS YOU! I'ms throwings books if I want!

[It will occur to him in a second or two that a rabid evil scary monkey just tried to tear off his arm.]

Oh gosh, there is a monkey on your back. Literally, there is a monkey on your back.

[he pulls his screwdriver out of his pocket, pointing it at the shelves behind Toki, so that some of the books spill off, hitting the monkey. As he moves to bounce off the sofa onto the floor, he slips on the cushion, as Nathan warned.]

Ouch!

[But he hops to his feet quickly, because dlfkjs murderous monkey. That's scary and kind of cool, but at the moment since it's trying to tear Toki's arm off, Eleven is going with scary]

[Nathan's reaction rides the middle ground between Eleven's almost mild 'oh gosh' and Toki's 'OH FUCK'.

He stands there, rigid, staring at the thing. What the fuck is that? Holy shit. Granted, there's little to no fear here, just... something a little out of range of what he's used to.]

Jesus fucking Christ.

[But then it registers it just fucking attacked Toki. Well, Toki threw a split second punch at it and the Doctor is doing who knows what, but he does the first thing that comes to mind and he fucking yells.]

[He's totally going to launch at an attack at it next tag if it's still up. But there's clearly not enough time in this tag to do it, like hell the monkey is going to stay in one place with all that going on.]

Toki is thus spared of dismemberment, but that monkey is going towards Nathan and that is not very nice. There are books flying everywhere and crazy monkey noises, and you know what? Toki likes games, so he'll play along for now.

He charges at the monkey, trying to latch onto its back this time and punch the hell out of its ugly-ass head.]

[and due to the amount of Stuff going on here, there's not enough time in this tag for the Doctor to do something while Nathan is doing his thing and the monkey is doing her thing (because I've decided this monkey is a girl, I don't know why), so yes, this tag was useless]

[Nathan snarls, but there's still no fear here. Nathan knows how to deal with being charged. He played football in his youth, and this is more or less the same thing.

He doesn't sidestep; he just gets prepared to be hit, and drops down into like some awesome counter stance to keep the thing from barreling over him. Fuck you, monkey.

Granted this probably isn't the smartest move, but it's one made in the heat of the moment.

And poor Doctor, not knowing what to do since Toki took his move. Poor, poor Doctor. HE SHOULD KICK IT THE CROTCH.]

[Unfortunately for the monkey, it is slamming Nathan head-on first. But now it has Toki on its back. And that annoying stupid scrawny thing is beating on him.]

[The monkey tries to slam itself back into a bookshelf, despite having had a collision party with Nathan. Dizziness doesn't mean it can't try to repeatedly crush Toki on books.]

[Toki doesn't see that part coming. He makes a sad little noise as he's crushed, and that gets him to let go! Most people would've broken a rib, but Toki just looks pissed as he gets to his feet. It's possible that he's hurt something and hasn't noticed. This is Toki we're talking about.

Fearlessly, he grabs a nearby chair and tries to whack the overgrown Sasquatch with it. Repeatedly. Even if it breaks into little pieces.]
