"Surely more interesting than what you did." In a decidedly unladylike move, she kicked her feet up onto the chair across from her. "I went to Greece. And Gallifrey. And other places I don't even have a name for."

Arthur's fork stopped midair, and he actually managed to properly look at Morgana for the first time since she entered the room. A swirl of emotions coursed through him. He felt confused and curious and vexed all at once. He was too caught off guard by the proclamation to find time to conceal any of this.

"What?"

She brushed away the childishness for him, recognising that to Arthur, this would not be fun and games. It was not as if the more serious consequences had not occurred to her. But as she had been safe from them, it seemed unnecessarily paranoid to fret.

"I have been moved between the worlds as if by some unseen hand. I was always placed near to someone who knows the Plane, and they all cared for me while I was in their world."

Arthur looked at her for another moment, before returning to his meal. He struggled for a moment, not wanting to say the words, but obligation and some guilt forced them out of him.

"I'm sorry," Arthur said to Morgana, barely above a mumble. He seemed to be addressing his plate, rather than her. Apologizing was a large enough feat without having to watch her watch him abandon his pride and admit he may have been wrong. "I should not have sent you off as I did."

He paused, playing with the food on his plate before finally looking up at her again. "Was that the cause of your...unexpected travels?"

"It's hardly your fault," she said, perhaps a little harsher than she ought to have, but Arthur was always taking responsibility for that which was not his fault. She added, "I don't know. I plan on going to the Plane when I have a moment and asking if any others have experienced this."

He had no desire to argue the point with her, but he could not shake the feeling that the timing was very odd.

"Do you think that wise? Whatever was pulling you between worlds must have originated from that place."

"Avoiding the Plane isn't likely to make it stop. At least there is a chance of answers if I make an inquiry." She took a sip of her drink before speaking. "We should take Gwen and Merlin out in a hunting party tomorrow."
