As Arthur gave his order, Morgana closed her eyes. The bow's smooth surface pressed into her palm as her fingers tightened around it. But she was still and silent. She would obey her king.

"I'll speak with you later, my lord."

Arthur ignored her as he returned to the castle. Despite the fact that it had seemed he had won this small battle against her, he couldn't help but feeling like he'd regret it later that evening.

Irregardless, he proceeded back to the castle, matters of state and import no doubt waiting for his undivided attention.
