Characters: Jamie, Three, and OPEN FOR WHOEVER WANTS TO JOIN IN. Oh, yeah, and some monkeys.
Location: The Library.
Time: Day 3 of the Great Monkey Caper
Summary: Happy book-hunting day!
Warnings: Really angry monkeys and things that go along with running into really angry monkeys.
Notes: Posting order: Jamie, monkey, Three. (will adjust as needed to add other people if they want in).
Jamie stood in front of the Library, looking down at the note in his hand. It was a bit worse for wear, having been half-shoved into the pocket of his sheepskin vest, and then been promptly forgotten about while he was busy trying to make his way through a swamp. He had fallen in. Needless to say, the vest was somewhere drying out back on the TARDIS, but he had retrieved the note and brought back to the Plane with him.
Reaching down, he tried to brush a off bit of dried mud that had blotted out a goodly portion of the words. All that really was legible was the part about something called 'The Physics of the Impossible', and he frowned at it, wondering what it meant. He glanced back up at the library, somewhat uneasily. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to head in alone.
"Aye, well," he said to himself. "Someone's bound to come along that will want to find that book."
If they did, well, they'd need someone to keep an eye out for things, wouldn't they? Then, maybe, he could have a go at seeing what it was.

"Right, yes, we were looking for a book, weren't we?" So difficult to keep track of things. The Doctor attacks the reference section then, with vigour. With any luck it will be... well, somewhere.

He looks over to check to see how close the monkey is to breaking through, his hand removing yet another volume from the shelf automatically. Judging from the splintering, the door has just about had it. He goes to toss the last book he's grabbed, but as he's about at to throw it, he actually remembers to glance at the call number on the spine - the one that reads 'QC75 .K18 2008'.
Hurrying over to the Doctor, he brandishes it so she can see. "Doctor! I found it!"
