Multiverse Tripping

Summary: Because people can be sent through worlds at random times, Satoshi basically spends an entire day hopping between assorted worlds.
Warnings: None so far.

[Satoshi dropped down beside Ai, and he paused, because he recognised her, and then he paused again because a phantom thief, really? He sighed.] I keep getting moved between worlds. I'm going to try to use our merger to get back to mine.

[ And after a wonderfully executed startled reaction, complete with her almost spilling coffee on the paper and herself-- ] And good morning to you as well.

Sounds like you've been busy. [ Motions to the kitchen. ] Would you like something?

I already made coffee. There's more if you want. [ Because that makes up her entire meal in the morning. ] As for the merger I'll have to get changed since we'll be walking. It's a Saturday so the schoolyard should be empty.

Thank you. [He had no problem with that. He usually didn't eat anything.] You don't have to. You can point me the right way.

[ The last of her coffee was drained from the mug before she shops down from the chair. ] Feel free to make yourself comfortable, I'll be a few minutes.

[He nods, and when she leaves, gets himself that cup of coffee. He observes the features of the kitchen absently as he drinks--detective habits die hard.]

[ Roughly ten minutes passed before she comes back into the kitchen. Haibara had changed from her pajamas into pants, turtle neck and a light jacket. In one hand was a handbag while the other had the key to the house. ] Okay then. Ready when you are.

[He nodded, pushing himself away from the counter he'd been leaning on.] Lead the way.

[ She'll lead him out the kitchen, down the hall and out the front door. Once both are outside she makes sure to lock it before pocketing the door. It isn't until they start walking down the path to the front gate that she remembers something. ]

I got your message about the book.

[ Shaking her head. ] The book itself was blank. I've gone through all the pages but there was not a single thing written on any of them.
