Privately, Jamie almost wishes he could actually meet Commander Maxil. Not in here, as that would cause too many problems for Damon, but somewhere where he could have a few wee "words" with the man. Even if he got himself arrested afterwords, it would be worth it.
He doesn't say this out loud, of course. But the expression on his face might give some of that thought process away, if Damon happens to be looking at Jamie at the moment.
