That was one of the more peculiar things to happen to him. It was then, of course, that Sebastian remembered that Dorian could not see Monsignor Bell and that the Oxford Gardens were Dorian's Hyde Park. In light of this, Sebastian nodded, more to himself than to anyone, and sat down by a tree to watch Isaac.

It wasn't as if he thought he could do much help Isaac. But he recalled from his years at Eton that everyone insisted on the support of friends at sports events, as this apparently helped people win. Sebastian and Aloysius, then, would have to give Isaac their support.
