Rather than show an entire dialogue, this time it simply cuts to the chase, to the most important moment of the entire conversation. Reiko, the human behind the projection, her eyes wild and her face twisted into an expression of pure, utter loathing, gripping the desk and snarling as she utters words in what almost sounds like two voices - one her normal one, but the other much lower and far more angry...

I want Amagi. I want him here, and alive. I want to kill him. Only when his blood runs and I hear his final breath... and can finally succumb to undoing, would I turn my back on everything.

Time: Two days after the last fights.
Summary: The eleventh of the death matches.
Warnings: Character death warning.

This time, it was the king who was waiting in his throne and the liar who ran in late. The king grabbed him by the wrist and turned him around, blocking the audience's view. Today, the liar had no hat.

“Your cravat.”

“Oh. I thought—”

“Take a moment.” As the liar began to fiddle with something at his neck, presumably his cravat, the king said, “Should I ask?”

“You can guess.” With a flash of his smile, the liar turned around and stepped up onto the ledge of the Emperor's box. There, balanced perfectly, he said, “Vengeance and violence is always a winning combination, and today's two combatants are both filled with wrath. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome Reiko Saeki and Lucy Saxon to the arena!”

With that, he stepped off the ledge and retreated to his throne beside the king. The hourglass began counting the time. Silently, the king offered the liar a hat.
