Jade felt no pride in the beauty of Grand Chokmah; he had little national pride to speak of, and besides that, they were not his creation. They were, however, swiftly becoming his responsibility. If Grand Chokmah wanted to sustain its beautiful reputation, Jade was going to have to come up with some good shortcuts to solve the energy use problems that came from that much fonon consumption.
