Characters: Donna Noble, and that infamous computer
Location: In the video: A room! Somewhere. Now found on a screen near you.
Time: Backdated slightly to a couple days ago.
Summary: Donna makes a choice.
When the screens come on, the sound has been muted, or so it seems from the lack of noise coming from the mouth of an obviously angry ginger-haired woman. Probably is all for the best as the screen flashes a number of times with her in different parts of the small room, sometimes banging on a wall, standing in the middle of the room, and so on.
Soon enough, the clips stop and the lights come up more, switching from infra-red back to normal, and shows Donna with her head bowed, mussed hair hiding her face. She glances up, catching the message that appears on the screen:
"In the end, everyone has a price. What is your price, Donna Noble?"
Her face twists with anger and she sits up, tossing her hair back with a flick of her hand. "My price? What do I look like to you, some flipping chav who can be bought with tasteless designer clothes?!" she says, scoffing.
But the offended expression on her face fades a moment later. "No...there's got to be more to it. It can't be that simple. What would he do in this situation...?" She glances around the room, looking for something that only she can identify, but apparently doesn't find it. "I don't think I've got a pri--"
Suddenly, she cries out jerks her hand away from the arm of the chair she's in and rubs it. "What the hell was that?!" The confident tone she had moments before is gone. "You...you really shocked me. But I really don't think I've--" she flinches again, "--stop it!"
She shakes visibly and wraps her arms around her chest. Silence reigns while she shrinks back into the chair and cries for a few minutes. When she finally does speak again, her voice is small, defeated. "All right... I've seen him here once already, and I miss him so much. I want my dad back, nice and healthy and alive--and preferably not like a zombie or anything. Maybe Mum wouldn't be so miserable without him either..."
The screens flicker and turn to static just after a final message appears on the computer screen:
"There is always something people would pay to have. Remember that."
