Location: The Astral Bar, where else?
Summary: Nine and Beny have a chance to chat alone. I.e., Nine finally gets what's coming to him. xD
Warnings: ...It's Nine and Benny in a bar. Need I say more?
The Doctor couldn't remember the last time he'd had a nice, quiet drink by himself. And he needed it -- he had plenty of brooding to catch up on. He hadn't really had time to fully process everything that had happened...which was part of why he'd swanned off like he had. Of course, there were several other reasons, too, and he contemplated them while he nursed a particularly strong ginger beer.
He should have taken Egg back to the TARDIS instead of the bar, the kitten needed his rest. So did the Doctor, of course, but he didn't want to deal with the nightmares just yet. Or ever, really.
