Oliver didn't mind, and he didn't say anything when Jamie stopped explaining. He wanted them both to enjoy this excursion, after all, so if that wasn't Jamie's idea of fun, there was no need to press him.
He was surprised by Jamie's question, though. A tinge of sadness flickered through his eyes, but he quickly tried to cover it with a sheepish expression, scratching his head with a smile. Seeing that Jamie was already headed over the wall, he didn't reply too loudly. Maybe Jamie wouldn't pursue the topic. "Yeah...there's nowhere else in the universe quite like it."
The real problem was that Gondovan didn't--and probably never would--feel like home. Earth reminded him of his family and of Chloe and all the things he'd given up. It reminded him of living a normal life. There really was nowhere else like it, and he hadn't thought he'd ever see it again. It was almost an understatement to say he missed it. But he couldn't say all of that to Jamie. After all, making Jamie worry about him wouldn't change any of it.
And for the moment, here he was on Earth, and Jamie was getting ahead of him. Oliver quickly took the last few steps to the wall and started to follow him over--a bit less gracefully, but he wasn't half bad at things like this after his travels with the Doctor.
