"If I was interested in fighting to win, Braxiatel, do you think I would have brought merely a staser?" The look of ill-concealed contempt that Narvin threw Brax was usually reserved for particularly obtuse junior officials, and he crossed his arms with a scowl.

"I'm not a fool, Braxiatel. As you said, it's your living thoughts that act as a prison. You're a threat to Gallifrey while alive, and an even worse one dead."

The fact that this was probably not the best line of conversation to touch on was lost on Narvin.
