Ray grinned, then reached out to muss Chris' still damp hair. He had done good, at least, in getting Chris to smile a bit. It was the most he could ask for at the moment.

Then Ray sighed and removed his hand. "Don't mean that, Chris. It's... different? Dunno. The guv, he pretty much accused me of bein' disloyal."
