"Dear me," Braxiatel said, dodging behind Benny to shut the door. If she was going to bring the house down, he would rather limit the damage to his quarters. He turned around to face her, smile still smooth.

"Shall I take this to mean you're finally back? Wonderful! I was beginning to worry it would never happen."

Somehow, Braxiatel managed to change his position so that his back was no longer to the door. He was sure she would calm down when she realized everything was safe and right again.
