Booster rubbed the back of his head, looking down. God, he just wanted to ignore it, but he couldn't. None of his sensors were going off, and Skeets wasn't reporting any anomalies in the time stream. Booster would have to ask Rip to be absolutely sure, but he had a suspicion that it wasn't even related at all. The Plane made things so complicated. No matter how many times he looked over the Doctor's datapad, the more he felt a little sense of dread at the idea.
Now, it wasn't that Booster didn't want to help. That was part of his job description. It was more like, helping? It tended to hurt people because Booster was no Hal Jordan, Batman, or Superman. He was just Booster Gold, that superhero that everyone in the League kind of hated. He was selfish, and tended to only take his responsibilities once they were shoved in his face. That was just how he was, for better or worse. That made it easy enough to basically ignore the datapad for the time he'd had it. Now that she was here, sort of, and in a way he didn't really understand?
Well, it was like the issue had just gotten shoved in his face.
"Well, it's more like my buddy is known for being able to travel through time, so I get to borrow his time machine. I already did a long time ago, anyways, so I was kind of familiar with it? But I stole it then. I gave it back, don't misunderstand that, he just asks me to help him out sometimes because I'm more equipped for actually fighting than he is," Booster said easily, answering the questions essentially in terms of their difficulty.
"But...Man, Tokyo? That makes things...so complicated. You don't even know how complicated, but hey. I guess it's just the Plane. It couldn't be anything else."
