The only thing on Reiko's mind was where the nearest cafe was, and if they had some decent tea. The morning had been unpleasant enough with the discovery of a new intersection, and although most of the people were evacuate there was still the inevitable issues of what to do about the building. At least that particular dimension didn't seem to have anything going on about it, but the increasing number of intersections was starting to get alarming.
She sat, sipping her tea, letting her mind wander for a moment. It had been a long night, and truth be told she wasn't looking forward to the mountain of work that was building up on her desk. It was getting harder and harder to focus on it, lately. Plus Ryou's constant badgering about trying to access that place... well, whether he could or not depended on him. Even trying to pull him across hadn't worked. All that would happen is he would lose his temper and Express. It was a wonder anything was getting done anymore...
A shadow streaked by overhead... an airplane in this part of the city? It seemed odd. Perhaps it was military... but then again, there wasn't any sound indicative of an airplane. She looked up, then blinked.
It couldn't be a person. Nobody could really fly.
