No longer worried, Booster grinned. If she knew what the Astral Plane was, then that was slightly less worrisome. It was only less worrisome because:
a) Rip wouldn't chew him out for suddenly ending up in Japan.
b) Time wasn't broken. Again.
c) The Plane made less sense than he thought.

No, wait, point 'c' was extremely worrisome. Booster had been confused that Rip wasn't able to pinpoint what the Astral Plane was and that Skeets couldn't come with him to analyze it. He had been able to analyze it enough to know that it wasn't exactly a time anomaly and thus, it was out of his jurisdiction. Sort of. The Doctor had given him the datapad, but Booster had basically ignored it in lieu of the past two years' events. Now it felt like it was welling up as another responsibility to add onto his shoulders.

There was no reason to give this girl a hint of his worries, though.

"Yeah, I know about it! I've been able to go there for a while, but...Man, that's weird. You really aren't seeing Italy right now? What are you seeing?" he asked curiously, but then shook his head.

"Well, I guess introductions are better to start off with. Uhh, name's Booster Gold, superhero extraordinaire. Well, maybe not extraordinaire, but you get the idea."

He offered his hand to shake, but remembering ancient (in the 25th century, anyways) Japanese culture and instead bowed just slightly. For Booster, it felt awkward, but he was smart enough to know to observe some other culture's traditions. When he knew about them, anyways.
