Hei had been dozing since Juni had fallen asleep (he couldn't be sure how long ago that was), not wanting to leave her alone after...all that. He heard her stirring nearby and came fully awake. It took him a moment to register the situation--darkness, the theater, and right, a formerly drugged-up Juni coming awake next to him. He rubbed at his face as he remembered what they had done.
It had been for Juni, he reminded himself. He had helped her get that poison out of her system, and that was the important part. Who knew what might have happened if he hadn't?
Sighing, he pulled himself up so that he was leaning back on his elbows and looked over at Juni. He couldn't be sure in the dimness of the theater, but he thought she might be blushing. Apparently she'd come out of whatever euphoria she'd been in. Hei got the feeling this was going to be a lot more awkward than normal.
